Good Earth Teas has been in Santa Cruz, California since it was founded in 1972. One of the first American herbal companies during the early 1970's and responsible for introducing Ginseng Tea to the US health and specialty markets. In the late 1970's it began to develop the trademark teas for the Good Earth Restaurants and launched Good Earth Teas in tea bag form to the California grocery market in 1988. From the Santa Cruz headquarters, Good Earth's staff manages all of the procurement, inventory, blending, packaging, sales and marketing of their signature tea products. Good Earth is one of the leading specialty tea brands in the United States today and was acquired by Tetley US Holdings Limited in October 2005. Good Earth Teas are simply about taste.
