Texas Redneck was founded in Helotes, Texas in 2003 by two neighbors who love to barbeque. Specializing in smoked meats such as brisket, ribs, chicken, etc., we created a barbeque sauce to go with them. The sauce was such a hit with our friends and family that we decided to look into professionally producing it. We found a San Antonio based company that met our needs and began production in October of 2003.
To promote our product, Texas Redneck began renting booth space at local events such as craft shows, the Home and Garden show and the San Antonio Stock Show.
By March of 2004 we were accepted into approximately one hundred San Antonio based HEB stores throughout the state. Texas Redneck also have placement in the gift shops at Fiesta Texas and various other specialty stores in and around San Antonio.
